airports.

I really think an airport is one of the few truly acceptable places to be seen alone in public. I love it, I naturally enjoy being able to do things on my own. In American society if one is alone in most public places (restaurants, movies, bars, theme parks etc.) it is often seen as being kind of sad/pathetic/depressing.I like that I can just sit in the airport alone with other people sitting alone and not have people think I'm a newly initiated member of the old maids club (which I was asked join ... I hope in jest but that's a story for another time.)
